Please join the Junior League of Halifax on Saturday June 24th to donate blood! We have 15 appointments reserved for 9:45am. Dairy Queen has donated free ice cream coupons so we can enjoy a sweet treat after we donate.

March 8, 2017 – International Women’s Day Event

FREE event, space is limited

Junior League of Halifax is pleased to celebrate International Women’s Day with a lively interactive
panel discussion with some exceptional women leaders in Nova Scotia. Please join us for this free
event!
Panelists include:

Cmdr Heather J. Armstrong, CD, RCN (RET);

Donna Smith Darrell, Former Junior League President (1985/1986) and one of the first Nurse Practitioners in NS;

Lisa Roberts, current MLA for Halifax-Needham.

Evening will include a screening of a great TED talk given by Icelandic Presidential nominee, Halla Tomasdottir and move to panel discussion with the presenters.

The moderator for this event is Canadian Foundation of Junior League Coordinator, Susan Simpson from British Columbia.

It’s bingo time again, so grab your dobbers and a couple friends and join us on Tuesday, September 20th at the Halifax Forum! For each $15 book, the Forum will give $10 back for the first 75 people. All participants must be at least 12 years old to attend. This is a great way to out the FUN in FUNdraising! Please contact us at info@juniorleagueofhalifax.ca to secure your voucher today!

Bingo at the Halifax Forum on April 14th. Gather some friends and come out to play bingo for the Junior League. For each $15 book, the Forum will give $10 back for the first 75 people. All participants must be at least 12 years old to attend.
